From 70 year old vines of Cabernet Franc planted on aeolian sands and schist. The grapes were harvested by hand and committed to cuve in whole bunches where they spent 8 months macerating with very little interference. After a slow and gentle press the wine was aged for a further 9 months in old barrels.
The previous vintage of this wine was our first experience with Romain and Lucie’s wines and the sequel does not disappoint. With an astounding aromatic lift, this wonderfully fresh wine has bags of varietal charm and will only get better with age.
