Hénadé Bulles

Lé Thio Noots (Loire)
Gamay Chaudenay • 2021

From a small parcel of the rare teinturier Gamay variety which when pressed produces a dark red juice. From 40 year old vines planted on schist and aeolian sands. The grapes were macerated for 6 days and pressed quickly to cuve, capturing just the slightest hint of tannin. Bottled as a pet’ nat’, Romain then disgorged each bottle by hand after a few months on the lees.

A terrific way to vinify this unusual variety producing a truly individual wine with a wildly juicy and sanguine profile.
