Made from fruit sourced from the limestone terroirs of Domaine Salvaterre in Opoul, the 2022 Monastrell (elsewhere known as Mourvèdre) offers a decidedly lifted iteration of the variety, benefitting from being picked relatively early for the region. With plenty of tart blackcurrant character and fine tannins, alcohol remains low while still delivering lots of charm.
