Paradoxe 2019 (1.5L)
Maker: Sébastien Morin
Varietal: Gamay
1.5L
From a 70 year old plot of Gamay planted on sandy granitic soil. Whole bunches of grapes were left to macerate for 2 months before being pressed into cuve until the end of June. The arguably more serious of the two 2019 releases — a keen acidity with tart red berries and a lasting herbaceous finish. Incredibly satisfying now but we feel it will reward those patient enough to cellar for a few years.
