Petit Courbu / Petit Manseng / Riesling • 2022
From vines in Balmaseda, 30 km south-west of Bilbao, planted on a south-facing slope based on schist and sandy rocks. A direct-press of Petit Courbu, Petit Manseng, and Riesling with fermentation and élevage of just over one year in barrel. A beguiling golden colour in the glass, this offers wave upon wave of honeyed citrus and salty mineral notes. Drinking very well now, this will only improve with time in the cellar.
