From an old, co-planted parcel, the 2021 Ratapoil blend combines the traditional varieties of the region in a co-fermented cuvée, comprising the tiny quantities harvested in 2021 after a year of frost, hail, and mildew. The grapes were de-stemmed and macerated quickly before élevage in stainless steel for 8 months.
Expressing delicate fruit, with a lithe mineral structure and a touch of dusty tannins, this is perhaps the lightest vintage of this wine yet, with a certain prettiness already quite expressive in its youth.
