Muscat D’Alexandrie • 2022
Another trampette-style maceration here, this time using 100% Muscat d’Alexandrie from Roussillon-based vigneron Vincent Lafage. Here, two thirds of the grapes are directly pressed, and the remaining third is added in as whole bunches for three weeks of maceration. As one might expect from a maceration Muscat d’Alexandrie, this is a wine of ample aromatic profile, with lots of generosity of florals and fruit on the palate and a long, rounded texture.
