Grolleau, or Groslot as it is known locally, from two parcels not far from the cellar in Chavagnes-les-Eaux, one a young plot on iron rich soil and the other older vines on limestone. Half the grapes were macerated in whole bunches for 3 weeks and half de-stemmed and macerated for 10 days, all raised in cuve. A wonderfully fresh and vibrant summer wine that is delicious when a little chilled, showing a cherry-like fruit and a peppery finish.
