#CookForUkraine at The Laughing Heart

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last night at our #cookforukraine dinner at The Laughing Heart, and all those that got involved in the online auction or bought a raffle ticket. You helped us raise over £17,500 for the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Appeal. With the aid match pledged by the UK government this will reach over £35,000 towards humanitarian aid for the many millions affected by the illegal war being waged in Ukraine.

It was humbling to see so many come together from our small network of friends to help put this on. A huge thank you to Charlie at the Laughing Heart who helped organise the whole event, Michael and Joe who joined us on the floor, as well as our superstar line up of chefs Adam, Seb, Ixta, Ben and Sertaç who brought incredible vibes as well as spectacular food.

This would have been impossible without the long list of wine suppliers, food suppliers and other friends in the industry who donated towards the event, thank you all!
