New Arrivals from Christophe Lindenlaub

On our recent visit to Alsace we found Christophe Lindenlaub in fine form as he regaled us with stories of the vintage just passed, showing us the promising wines to come, as well as a fine selection from the vintages already bottled.
 

Walking through the vines with Christophe, it is easy to see where the wines get their vitality. His 12ha are scattered across the hills of Dorlisheim and Mutzig in the north of Alsace. Worked organically since the early 2000s, they reach up to 400 metres elevation in parts and provide ideal conditions for the broad mix of varieties grown there. Working in the way he does leaves little to hide behind so much of the year is spent up on these hills, working sensitively to bring out the best from each parcel. 
 

Back at Christophe’s home after tasting through every tank we shared a baked Mont D’Or alongside his wonderful 2022 Amis-Amis, a harmonious blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. It was a fitting way to end our trip.
