New Arrivals from Anne-Laure Laengel

The creation of Anne-Laure’s own domaine was only recent - it was in just 2019 that she took over a 1.2ha vineyard in northern Alsace following the passing of her father, who had cared for the vines his entire life. Her parcel, planted on rich clay and limestone soils in Bernardswiller, has been tended to organically since 2018 and is split between 40 year old Sylvaner vines and 20 year old vines of Auxerrois, as well as small amounts of Pinot Gris and Muscat.

One of the promising rising stars of the region, Anne-Laure shares much in common with her husband Christophe Lindenlaub, both believing in holistic farming practices, patience during élevage, and a zero-zero approach in the cellar. It is clear, however, that her wines have a voice of their own, and it is wonderful to see the progression she has made since starting just a few years ago.

After two challenging vintages in 2021 and 2022, 2023 proved to be straightforward and abundant, resulting in plenty of ripe, healthy fruit. Anne-Laure has kept her fresh and vital style of winemaking while also honouring the nature of the vintage. We couldn’t be more excited to have her new releases in the UK!

The wines are available to drink in or take away at Cadet, or for home delivery in our online shop.
