Fond Cyprès in London

Based in the village of Escales within the Corbières appellation of the Languedoc, the pair have been running their domaine since the early 2000s, breaking the mould of conventional winemaking in the area and really redefining what wines from the region can be.
Recently we ended our trip to France with a brief stay at their house and we can assuredly say they are some of the warmest and most generous people we know and are thrilled to finally have them over to London.

We will be hosting a couple of events at two venues very dear to us - P Franco and Noble Fine Liquor.

First on Sunday 14th November we will be at P Franco with our great friend Sam Kamienko on the hobs for the first time. Sam has cooked in some of the best kitchens around the world, most recently winning acclaim heading the kitchen at Leroy in Shoreditch and will be putting together a menu of French bistro classics. Laetitia and Rodolphe will be on hand talking through the wines and pouring bottles over several vintages to accompany Sam’s food.
The kitchen will be open from 2pm til 9pm and as always there are no bookings.

Then on Tuesday 16th November we will be at Noble Fine Liquor on Broadway Market for a more intimate tasting with Laetitia and Rodolphe, going through a range of the Fond Cyprès wines from 2017 to 2020. On top of this George Jephson of @meatfishcheese is making a couple of special terrines inspired by the traiteurs of Corbières to keep rumbles at bay during the tasting. This will start at 6pm and run til roughly 8pm, tickets are priced at £22 and will be available through the Noble Fine Liquor website. There are just 20 available for this.

A very big thank you as always to the super talented @teganhendelstudio for the posters!
