100% Alicante from Carcassonne was macerated in whole bunches for 5 weeks before being pressed off to cuve for an 8 month rest. Nicely structured with lots of dark fruits and a pleasing density on the palate. A little volatile acidity brings balance and freshness. As with Rouge 1, this should age superbly.
